Work history

The full arc, most recent first.

The short version of each role is what did not exist when I arrived, and what I built.

2024 to present

Ona (formerly Gitpod)

First and only global field marketer. Built the field marketing function from zero and owned 35% of the company's ARR goal, producing $10M in sales-qualified pipeline in my first ten working months. Did it through a full rebrand and a shift from a developer tool to an enterprise AI company. Also design and QA the website and push my own PRs. In June 2026, Ona agreed to be acquired by OpenAI.

2022 to 2025

Figma

First of three marketers in international, owning EMEA events and field marketing, and covering APAC for a time before teams existed there. Built the EMEA events program from nothing: webinars and customer stories, office launches in Berlin and Paris, regional playbooks with marketers in Germany and France, and Config London, the first-ever EMEA flagship. Events owned roughly 20% of EMEA's sourced pipeline target. Figma IPO'd the year I left.

Account director

GAIN (formerly eleven miles)

Ran the team executing events at a design and marketing agency. During Covid the work moved to virtual, including BT's The Future Is Now series with David McLelland.

Financial services events

Moody's

A brief period in financial services events.

Executive events

Zurich Insurance, Global Corporate & Commercial

Ran high-touch executive events across the division, working with sales heads and the CEO of Global Corporate. Customer advisory boards in Zurich, elite council events in Rome and Lisbon, and the annual summer customer celebrations, from a Brazilian-themed festival to garden parties with celebrity acts. This is where the white-glove, executive-relationship craft came from.

Events and marketing executive

BNY Mellon

About a year on executive events and fund roadshows, plus the Boat Race sponsorship with Newton Investment Management, including the year the sponsorship was donated to Cancer Research UK.

Event management

Incisive Media

Event management for revenue-driving events across a financial publishing group of 20+ brands, including Risk, Investment Week, and Professional Pensions. Award shows, conferences, and roundtables across Europe.

The pattern across all of it: I learned executive events in financial services, then wired that craft to pipeline in tech.
